Brief: To design a new concept lighting showroom to incorporate facilities for mocking-up lighting effects, and to provide lighting design consultation to the general public along Uxbridge Road, Hammersmith.

Method: A system of lighting display units were constructed - conceived as ribbons that flow up from the floor and over ones head, to give a sense of being immersed in the environment. These elements provided display surfaces for the lights and an exploratory space for the client to weave in and out of the structures. The basement was opened up, providing a consultation space, kitchen and customer toilets. The facade was given a simple contemporary appearance to comply with the conservation officers requirements.
