Oliver Heath is an industry recognised expert in the field of Biophilic and Sustainable Design working within the built environment. With a background in architecture, his design practice explores his passion for evidence based design, wellbeing and communications.
His extensive media experience has given him the opportunity to present for numerous television channels, exhibitions and seminars. Since 1998 he has presented television programmes working for the likes of the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery Channel and Norway’s TV2, and the BBC’s DIY SOS where one of his shows was BAFTA nominated.
As an expert communicator and qualified Domestic Energy assessor he has worked for The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), the Energy Saving Trust and the Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP).
His extensive media experience means that he is regularly asked to host seminars, events and awards ceremonies including the Sunday Times British Homes Awards, The Pea Awards, the KB awards. He is also a regular speaker at Ecobuild, Grand Designs, Education Estates and Facility Management conferences, and vets the retail Eco Trail and London’s Top Draw and Pulse trade shows.
He is a trusted voice of authority in interior design having written 4 books – his third urban Eco Chic (Quadrille) selling over 30,000 copies in 8 languages. He is also a frequent contributor for the likes of The Guardian, The Sunday Times, House Beautiful and BD Online.
Outside of his design practice Oliver is a keen wild swimmer, paddle boarder, runner, mountain biker, sailor and DIY’er, but loves nothing more than sitting round a campfire with friends and family.
